After wowing audiences with her performances in ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Darlings,’ Bollywood actress Shefali Shah expressed her enthusiasm for her forthcoming web series ‘Delhi Crime Season 2’. Tanuj Chopra directs the show, which stars Shefali as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, Rajesh Tilang, and Rasika Duggal. “I am really delighted that I am feeling good and that I am in the National Capital to celebrate ‘Delhi Crime 2,” the ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ star said of her enthusiasm for Delhi Crime Season 2.”

“I am pleased to experience everyone’s enthusiasm for Delhi Crime 2. We’ve built something that we all care deeply about, and we can only hope that the audience enjoys this season as much as we do. We have a fantastic cast and team. A group of fantastic actors! So, just like Madam Sir, I’m happiest when I’m filming with my full squad. It’s an honour to work with these people. The season and Vartika have so many complexities and levels that I can’t wait for the public to see them.”

Aside from her, actor Rasika Duggal stated, “Neeti Singh is a role that has connected with me since the first time I read the screenplay for Season 1.” It was an extremely intense experience for me as a performer to journey with Neeti through season 1, and getting to step into her shoes again in season 2 was a treat! She was a trainee IPS officer fresh out of the training academy in season one, with a strong sense of honesty and idealism. She is a more self-assured policeman this season, with a feeling of comfort and ease in her profession. It was fascinating to watch Neeti mature and to chart her progress with my director and co-actors.

Neeti exhibits strength and resilience that does not always feel the need to be stated. That is something I admire. Strength and strength are sometimes recognised in extremely clichéd ways. Neeti does not feel compelled to be or do that. That’s something I admire about her.”

Returning as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, a.k.a. ‘Madam Sir,’ with her faithful staff. This time, a rash of heinous killings in Delhi is keeping them on their toes. With public concern rising and the media demanding answers, Madam Sir is forced to make difficult decisions. Will the Delhi Police be able to apprehend these savage crooks in time? ‘Delhi Crime S2,’ produced by SK Global Entertainment, Golden Karavan, and Film Karavan, is based on genuine occurrences. The programme will be available exclusively on Netflix beginning August 26.
