There are no rules for players and the planet is filthy. The upbeat theme song “Sab Farzi” from the upcoming criminal drama Farzi was released by Prime Video on Wednesday. The song, which features Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi, delves deeply into the Farzi world of crime, art, money, and more money.
Farzi, a series of eight episodes, is described as a fast-paced, edgy crime thriller with Raj & DK’s signature humour that revolves around a cunning street artist’s quest to game the system that rewards the wealthy. Raj and DK, a team of filmmakers, are in charge of the programme.
The upbeat song was written by Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics by Priya Saraiya and vocals by actor-singer Saba Azad. In the video, Shahid is seen rising through the ranks by creating fake money and living the high life while being completely oblivious of the cop played by Vijay Sethupathi who is out to get him.
Along with South actor Vijay Sethupathi, Raashi Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Amol Palekar, Regina Cassandra, and Bhuvan Arora, Farzi also stars these actors. On February 10, Farzi will make its Prime Video premiere.
Shahid makes his OTT debut in this season. The actor was last spotted in Jersey, a 2022 movie that failed at the box office. Vijay Sethupathi will also make his streaming debut with Farzi. This year, the well-liked actor will also make his Hindi film debut with the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and the Merry Christmas, Katrina Kaif starrer.
