Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the official poster for Mumbai Diaries season 2. The key visual features the main characters, and their faces half-submerged in water. The medical drama will be released on Prime Video’s Indian portal. No release date has been revealed as of yet, but with time many such updates will be shared.
The streaming service took to its official social media handle and posted the announcement. They captioned the poster by writing, “brace yourselves, a storm is about to hit. #MumbaiDairiesOnPrime, coming soon”
The cast members like Mohit Raina, Konkona Sensharma, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Tina Desai Shreya Dhanwanthary and Prakash Belawadi will be returning for the upcoming season.
The first instalment of Mumbai Diaries 26/11 was released in September 2021 It seems like the second season has also come around the same time. The first season had 8 episodes in total. The show revolves around the 2008 attacks that happened in Mumbai. Also, how the terrorists attack Mumbai’s general hospital and a doctor saves the patients’ lives. It focuses on the challenges faced by the hospital staff in keeping the patients safe and securing their lives.
The show is directed by Nikkhil Advani while the series composition is done by Asutosh Pathak. It is produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under the banner of Emmay Entertainment.
