Netflix releases official trailer of “Caught Out” – Watch

Cricket Fans are very excited as Netflix has released the official trailer of “Caught Out- Crime, Corruption, Cricket”. The movie is directed by Supriya Sobti Gupta. The movie will be available on Netflix 17th of March, the movie is based on the late 90s and early 2000s fixing scandal that shook the cricketing world. Big cricket players like Hansie Cronje, Mohammed Azharuddin, and Herschelle Gibbs were involved in the controversy. The movie revolves around betting, bookies, and Indian Investigators who uncovered the biggest match-fixing scandal.

Cricket’s image as a “gentleman’s game” was tarnished when the match-fixing scandal erupted in 2000, leading to many Indians being disillusioned by the sport. According to the official synopsis, ” Caught Out is a pulsating story that looks at the trajectory of cricket in India, brimming with unexpected twists and turns whilst exploring how the cricketing fraternity fought back from one of the biggest corruption scandals.”

Today Netflix released a one-minute 47 seconds long trailer of the movie and left fans in excitement. The trailer was released on YouTube as well as Netflix’s official Instagram Handle, they posted the video and wrote the caption, ” The unravelling of the biggest match-fixing scandal to hit the global cricketing world. Time to sharpen the willow and swing into the dark side of the country’s most loved sport! CAUGHT OUT: CRIME. CORRUPTION. CRICKET. Streaming on 17th  March!”
