Hulu Original Series ‘The Fool’ cancelled post two seasons

Hulu series The Fool has failed to secure a renewal for its third installment. The series, which is an half-hour comedy set in working- class South Central Los Angeles written and executive produced by Chris Estrada, Pat Bishop, Jake Weisman, and Matt Ingebretson, has been cancelled post season 2.

The plot of the show revolved around Julio Lopez, played by Estrada, a 30-year-old, who is still living at her home and and have been in an on-and-off relationship with girlfriend, played by Michelle Ortiz, since high school. The protagonist is shown working at Hugs Not Thugs, a gang rehabilitation nonprofit, where he butts head with cousin Luis, played by Frankie Quinones, an ex-gang member who just got out of prison and moved in with Julio and his family.


Jonathan Groff and Fred Armisen were also credited as executive producers.

The second season of the Hulu Original series consisted of 10 episodes. The platform will continue to stream the two seasons.
