This November, Hulu will release A Murder at the End of the World, a riveting new mystery-thriller. Emma Corrin, best known for her role in The Crown, is set to take spectators on an exciting trip through this intricate story replete with intrigue, secrets, and technical marvels.

However, the road to bringing this gripping story to our screens has not been without challenges. Originally intended for an August launch, unforeseen delays caused by the SAG-AFTRA strike have moved the debut date to November. Plot
The story revolves around a Gen Z tech prodigy, Darby Hart, played by Emma Corrin. Invited to an isolated retreat, Darby soon discovers that it’s not all relaxation and leisure.
When one guest is found dead under mysterious circumstances, she must utilize her unmatched hacking prowess and sharp detective senses to unravel the dark truths before another tragedy strikes.
Release Date
The show will premiere on Hulu on November 14, 2023. Although the show was originally scheduled to premiere on August 29, it was delayed owing to the SAG-AFTRA strike, which caused it to be postponed. This strike also faced promotion issues, as actors and authors were barred from engaging in any publicity activities.

The project was initially known as Retreat, a term that may not have captured the heart of the story as well as its new designation. The series now hopes to stand out among Hulu’s plethora of mystery thrillers, such as Only Murders in the Building and Mare of Easttown.
Cast
Emma Corrin, best known for her portrayal of Princess Diana in The Crown, stars in this series. Corrin’s recent credits include My Policeman and Lady Chatterley’s Lover, and he will shortly appear in Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu and the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Deadpool 3.
Corrin is joined by a stellar cast that includes Triangle of Sadness’ Harris Dickinson, Clive Owen, who played President Bill Clinton in American Crime Story Season 3, and Alice Braga from The Suicide Squad.
Joan Chen, Raul Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, and even the show’s co-creator, Brit Marling, are among the cast members.
