Pop Kaun, a forthcoming comedy series on Disney+ Hotstar, will be created and directed by Farhad Samji. According to the director, he is eager to explore the genre in a form other than movies.
Creator and Director Farhad Samji added, “After creating multiple movies in the comedy space, I wanted to explore a different format with this genre and bring all the legends of comedy together. With Pop Kaun coming soon on Disney+ Hotstar, the idea was to create a fun family binge-watch show for audiences across generations.”
This series, which is made by Yam Productions, claims to combine the funniest actors for hilarious, amusing viewing.
The director is most recognised for his work on the comedic movies Housefull 4, Bachchhan Paandey, and Entertainment. He also co-directed Housefull 3 and Housefull 4 with Sajid Samji.
On Eid 2023, Farhad Samji’s next film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, would be released. Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde are the stars of the movie. With Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, and Akshay Kumar, he will be shooting Hera Pheri 3.
Disney+ Hotstar has not yet revealed any information on the show’s cast. The site will shortly begin broadcasting Pop Kaun.
