The filmmaker Shakun Batra who worked his magic in the film Kapoor & Sons realised the trailer of his forthcoming film Gehraiyaan featuring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday in the leading roles. It is a tale of complex friendship, love and life, watch the trailer of Gehraiyaan now!!
Deepika Padukone Shared the trailer on social media and wrote, “Life, Love and Choices…Get ready to experience it all!”.
The producer Karan Johar featured the trailer as, “All the shades of love, choices & consequences wrapped into an experience that awaits you”.
To add on, the over 2-minute trailer recited the meaning of friendship, love and how lies complicates the relationship. While it looks exciting, the Gehraiyaan trailer certainly leaves you craving more.
Talking about Deepika’s chemistry with Siddhanth has set the screens on fire. Shakun Batra directorial will mark Deepika’s first collaboration with Ananya and Siddhant and has been among the most awaited releases of the year.
The film was earlier scheduled to be released in January 2022. Now, Gehraiyaan will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 11 February. The film also shows Dhariya Karwa, Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur in key roles.
The film is co-written by Sumit Roy, Ayesha DeVitre, and Yash Sahai. Batra is also assisting as a producer on Gehraiyaan alongside Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta. Financing the film as Batra’s Jouska Films, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios.
