Following the box office success of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Article 370, and Shaitaan, Bollywood fans saw the release of another highly awaited film, Crew, last month.
Rajesh Krishnan directed the women-centric film, which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon.
Crew, which was co-produced by Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit under the brands of Anil Kapoor Films, Balaji Motion Pictures, and Communication Network, became a great box-office hit. The robbery drama was a hit with audiences, thanks to the starring trio’s onscreen chemistry.
The film earned Rs 100 crore worldwide in just nine days of release and continues to do well at the box office. Crew has topped the Rs 70 crore barrier at the box office three weeks after its release.
In the film, Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti play cabin crew members who want to be successful and wealthy.
However, their lives take a drastic turn when unanticipated circumstances tie them in a web of deception motivated by financial gain, and they organise a robbery. Since its debut, some fans have been anticipating its OTT premiere.
According to speculation, Netflix India has purchased the streaming rights to Crew. Films like Fighter, Animal, and Sam Bahadur debuted on OTT platforms two months after their theatrical releases.
As a result, Crew is slated to have its internet premiere within the same time frame, most likely in May. However, official confirmation of the date is still awaited. In addition to the main cast, the film has special appearances by Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma.
