The 69th National Film Awards were revealed on Thursday (August 24) at the National Media Centre in New Delhi. The prizes were given out for the year 2021.
While Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon shared Best Actress honours for Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi, Allu Arjun won Best Actor for Pushpa: The Rise.R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, on the other hand, won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film.
Pankaj Tripathi received the award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Mimi, while Pallavi Joshi received the prize for her work in The Kashmir Files.Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, will be released in 2022.
Ajay Devgn, Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Jim Sarbh, and others had significant roles in the biographical crime drama.Mimi, starring Kriti Sanon, will be released in 2021. Laxman Utekar directed it, and Dinesh Vijan produced it. Mala Aai Vhhaychy was a remake of the Marathi film.
