Being the centre of controvery, the actor- dancer told Mid-day, “I felt good seeing myself in an artistic zone. We have done something different from the usual style of shooting from the music videos in India”. The video aims at depicting different stages of heartbreak. “As we started working, we looked at different visuals, costumes and iconic looks of pop stars from my favourite tracks that would illustrate one concept perfectly”, she added.

Speaking of Beyonce’s Mine, Nora Fatehi said, “I am inspired by Beyonce, among other stars. ‘Mine’ was one of the many reference points, in terms of dancers, set-up and mood. However, the outfit was inspired from Mother Mary and not her”. She also revealed that they had taken reference from Madonna, Billie Elish and Zayn Malik. Her second look was heavily inspired by Black Swan (2010).

The music video was directed by Rajiv Dev.
