Kumail Nanjiani makes his MCU debut, jokes about him not yet bieng a part of Marvel

Kumail Nanjiani talks about his role in the most anticipated MCU movie, Eternals.

The most anticipated Marvel movie, Eternals will mark the MCU debut of several stars including Kumail Nanjiani. 

In a recent interaction with the the LA Times the actor joked that he still doesn’t  feel like he’s a part of Marvel thanks to the film’s major release delay amid the covid crisis.

“I’m not in the MCU until the movie comes out!” 

While most actors are walking on eggshells with Marvel in fear of unveiling anything about their roles and films contemplating how with MCU everything is a big surprise, on the other hand The Big Sick star Kumail Nanjiani who is ready to play his role as Kingo in the film, it all still appears like a dream.

 “When you’re shooting it, you feel like you’re in a Marvel movie, but now it’s a little over a year and people are like, “What’s it like being in the MCU?” And I’m like, “I don’t know! I haven’t seen the movie. I’m not in the MCU until the movie comes out!” Kumail revealed while talking about his role and making a debut for MCU.

The Chloe Zhao directed, Eternals  faced a major delay due to the pandemic as the film was scheduled to drop a year ago.

It will now be hitting the screens in October 2021. Followed by the film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings which will be on the screens this week on September 3. 

Along with Nanjiani, Eternals will feature Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, Kit Harington, and Gemma Chan.
