BELIFT LAB has officially announced that Heeseung will be leaving the K-pop group ENHYPEN, with the group set to continue its activities as a six-member act. The announcement was shared through an official statement addressing fans, known as ENGENE, and outlining the group’s future plans.

According to the agency, the decision was made after extensive discussions with the members about the group’s long-term direction and individual goals. During these conversations, it became clear that Heeseung wanted to pursue his own musical vision, prompting the company and the group to support his decision to move forward independently.

BELIFT LAB stated that the process involved significant consideration and internal deliberation before reaching the final decision. While acknowledging that the news may be difficult for fans to process, the agency emphasised that the move was made with the future of both ENHYPEN and Heeseung in mind.

Following Heeseung’s departure, ENHYPEN will continue promoting and performing as a six-member group. The company reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the group’s activities and delivering energetic performances for fans worldwide.

At the same time, Heeseung will remain under BELIFT LAB as a solo artist. The agency confirmed that he is currently preparing to release his first solo album, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career.
