The song Naatu Naatu by RRR was performed at the 96th Academy Awards, one year after it was nominated for an Oscar. Even the creators of Ram Charan and Jr. NTR were pleasantly surprised by it. They posted a video of Naatu Naatu performing at the Oscars in 2024. The caption on the video, which was posted on the movie’s official Instagram page, said, “On the Oscars stage again!”
Under the direction of SS Rajamouli, Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Olivia Morris, and Ray Stevenson were among the cast members of RRR’s star cast. The plot centred on the made-up lives of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, two Indian rebels. It provided insight into their camaraderie and resistance to the British Raj.
RRR, which was produced by DVV Entertainment, debuted on March 25, 2022. That year, it ranked among the highest-grossing films ever made.
