The ensemble of the upcoming film Jawan, starring Atlee and Shah Rukh Khan, appears to be growing better by the day. Vijay Sethupathi, the man who has provided some excellent performances in films like Vikram Vedha, Super Deluxe, and the current Vikram, appears to be another name to join the cast of this high-budget action drama. The South actor will play a major part in the film, and according to reports, he was brought in when Rana Daggubati dropped out.

According to Peeping Moon, “Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee were keen on casting Vijay Sethupathi after Rana Daggubati dropped out of the project, claiming schedule conflicts owing to his ailing health.” SRK and Sethupathi have a lot of respect for each other, thus when SRK gave Sethupathi the part in Jawan, he couldn’t say no. At SRK’s request, the actor has changed his whole filming schedule to accommodate Jawan in between.” According to these rumours, the South star will portray an adversary in the film and will join the rest of the team for their filming scheduled in Chennai by the end of August. Red Chillies Entertainment has not yet commented on it, but rumour has it that the movie also has a cast that includes both Bollywood and the South. The movie has performers like Yogi Babu in addition to females from both sectors, including Sanya Malhotra and Nayanthara, according to rumours.
