The entire country is yet not over Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. His fans and friends are yet mourning over his death, and the police are inspecting several people to find out the reality.
In between all this, producer Vijay Shekhar Gupta has announced to make a film on the life and death of Sushant called ‘Suicide or Murder’. The film stars Sushant’s doppelgänger Sachin Tiwari and this has gotten the fans’ attention.
Since Sushant’s sad demise, many big names in Bollywood have been called out for favouritism and nepotism. The film is rumoured to expose that side of the industry as well. Amid the tension, producer Vijay has taken the mantle to break the star kid favouritism.
In an interview with Beyond Bollywood, the producer has urged people to back the project. He gave a couple of insights and why he chose to do this film.
He revealed that this movie is just not about Sushant alone. It is actually inspired by Divya Bharti, Jiah Khan and Sushant. He wants to address all the Bollywood big names and show the reality of the business. The producer thinks that all these were suicide cases but were actually murder.
He also said that even though it’s only been a month since the sad demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, he feels that because the film is not entirely based on him, he does not think it is insensitive. Hence, he does not need a No Objection Certificate from Sushant’s family as it is not a biopic.
He said the idea of the story is the crux. He wants to expose the “Bollywood mafias and Bollywood nepotism.” Talking about the criticism he could receive, he quoted “those haters will be the first to watch my film, not the admirers.”
Talking more about debutant Sachin Tiwari, Vijay says “We have already started grooming the actor. His dance, acting and fight classes have commenced.”
Lastly talking about Sushant’s case, he says that he is awaiting and requesting the CBI to interfere and the people who are involved must be put behind the bars immediately.
