The Great Indian Family VS Sukhee Box office collection: Both the films flopped on the first day

Sukhee, starring Shilpa Shetty, and The Great Indian Family, starring Vicky Kaushal, were both released on September 22. Despite a uprising of hits in Bollywood in recent weeks, these two films flopped on their first day. The present holiday enthusiasm of Ganesh Chaturthi is likely to have had an impact on the box-office collections of these two films.

Shilpa Shetty’s Sukhee had incredibly low ratings on its first day. Sonal Joshi’s directorial did not even gross a crore. According to a Times Now report, the film only earned Rs 0.30 crore on its first day. According to early reports, the film could make up to Rs 1 crore in it’s lifetime.

The Great Indian Family, starring Vicky Kaushal, fared marginally better than Shilpa Shetty’s Sukhee, but it still did not perform well. According to a report in India Today, it only made Rs 1.40 crore at the box office. The film has a total occupancy range of 10.09%. Unless it has positive word-of-mouth, it may struggle to see an increase in collections.

According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which is still causing a stir at the box office, caused harm both films. Speaking of Sukhee, the slice-of-life film also prominently features Amit Sadh, Kusha Kapila, Dilnaz Irani, and Kiran Kumar. It centres on the life of Sukhpreet Kalra, a free-spirited homemaker. Manushi Chillar, Kumud Mishra, and Manoj Pahwa are also included as the main actors in The Great Indian Family. Bhajan Kumar, played by Vicky Kaushal, is a character who unexpectedly learns a bombshell that jeopardises his entire identity. It will be interesting to see how these films perform over the next few days.
