Stree 2 box office collection day 2 seems to be on a roll raking in Rs. 90.30 crore net gross in India as per Sacnilk. With Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi in the star cast, the film opened to very good collections at the box office.
As per the information available on the site, all the special opening premieres of Stree 2 were held on the Wednesday on which the film collected ₹8.5 crore. It was opened to the musical collection of ₹51.8 crore and on its second day it is expected to be the same, so it will gross about ₹30 crore taking the total to more than ₹90 crore. It is expected that there is a likelihood of 42.08% dip. By the second day of its release, it was estimated that the film had attracted about 37.46% occupancy overall. In its first day of operations, because it opened on a holiday, it received 77.09% occupancy in Hindi.
With the weekend in wake and Raksha Bandhan around the corner, there is good word of mouth doing the rounds for the movie, therefore, exhibitors would be hopeful of a turnaround to contribute to the second part of Stree at the Indian box office.
The sequel to the 2018 film Stree, directed by Amar Kaushik features Rajkummar and Shraddha in lead roles as they did in the first part. The movie goes on showing how the present day Chanderi has been invaded by the Sarkata, a new monster, and how the people of Chanderi turn to Stree.
