Shraddha Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan will star in director Kabir Khan’s forthcoming sports drama titled ‘Chandu Champion.’ Sajid Nadiadwala’s production has already commenced, with Kartik leading the way and Shraddha emerging as the favourite for the female lead.
According to a reputable entertainment news outlet, both Kabir and Sajid want Shraddha Kapoor to play the lead lady in ‘Chandu Champion.’
Kartik and Shraddha were most recently seen together in a cameo appearance by Kartik in Luv Ranjan’s ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.’ Their fans are excited because this will be their first cooperation as the lead couple.
According to sources, Sajid and Shraddha are currently discussing the specifics of the character, and the actress is ecstatic about the possibility.
The production team intends to shoot the picture over a six-month period to allow for adequate post-production work, including the insertion of VFX components.
The highly anticipated ‘Chandu Champion’ is set to be released on June 14, 2024.

“The title of the film has been carefully chosen by Kabir and Sajid,” the insider stated. “It matches the character brilliantly and has a whimsical touch, reminiscent of the effect made by ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in 2005” he added.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is basking in the success of his latest film, ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha,’ which has surpassed the 50-crore mark at the box office since its June 29 release.
