Shanaya Kapoor, who is all set to make her acting debut with Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan, have made it to the headlines for her yet another highly anticipated project. As per the reports, the actress will be taking on a challenge of double role in the upcoming next instalment of Student Of The Year. While the makers are yet to confirm the rumors, an insider has hinted that Shanaya’s character arc will be one of the biggest surprises in the film.
As reported by Filmfare, citing sources, SOTY 3 will introduce two contrasting avatars of Shanaya’s character, adding an exciting twist to storyline. “This would be a bold move for Shanaya, allowing her to showcase her versatility right from her early films. Even though SOTY 3 will come out after her other releases, this could very well be her career highlight,” quoted the news portal.
The film is expected to bring together a mix of drama and high octane dance sequences, staples of the SOTY universe. Similar to previous two projects, the upcoming instalment will be backed by Karan Johar. Apart from Shanaya, Alaya F is also reportedly part of the SOTY 3 cast. Moreover, the source has suggested that the makers are looking for a debutant to be casted opposite Shanaya.
Shanaya, daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, has been training intensively in acting and dance, gearing up for a debut for a while now. She is slated to feature in Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan alongside Vikrant Massey. Not just that, she will also be seen in Tu Ya Main with co-star Adarsh Gourav. She also has the Malayalam movie Vrushabha with Mohanlal.
