Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ to be helmed by four different stunt directors for hyper-stylized action scenes

Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film Pathan will be a slick action thriller. According to a Mid-Day report, Aditya Chopra has roped in four action directors to shoot several thrilling stunt sequences.


Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan is all geared up to return on the big screen with Siddharth Anand’s espionage suspenser Pathan along with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The movie has brought up to the expectation levels of audience and the creators want to make sure that this SRK featured turns out to be an action pleasure for them.

As per the recent report, producer Aditya Chopra has roped in four action directors who will develop and elaborate set-pieces to roll Pathaninto a hyper-stylized action espionage nail-biter.

A report in Mid-day noted that while South African action artiste Craig MacRae has already kick started  his job on this program in Mumbai, the creators are ultimately finalise the remaining stunt co-ordinators. It further noted that the team is believed to join Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham for the shoot this week.

On the reason behind selecting four various stunt directors, the source clarified, “The idea behind having different experts is to have breathtaking stunts in the movie, ranging from martial arts to hand-to-hand combat and chase sequences. Adi and Maneesh (Sharma) intend to conduct a schedule in Europe sometime between July and August, but the plan depends on the travel restrictions in the countries at the time. So, they are torn between two possibilities – either fly down the chosen stunt coordinators to India and shoot the sequences, or have them join the cast abroad.”
