Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Dunki’ sells only 30 tickets on its 1st day of advance booking in USA 

Shah Rukh Khan is collaborating with Rajkumar Hirani for the first time ever to deliver his third major film Dunki. After the success of Pathaan and Jawan, fans are highly anticipating the upcoming comedy-drama. It has already been buzzed around a lot with the release of its teaser. Now, audience is finally awaiting the trailer video, which is supposed to be released today.

Dunki will be having a face-off with Prabhas’s Salaar: Part One-Ceasefire. Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar was earlier slated to release on September 28. However, due to the delay in the post-production work, the film’s release was delayed. The makers of Salaar dropped their official trailer on the 1st of December and it has garnered immense love from the audience.


Both the films are yet to announce the dates for advance ticket bookings in India. But they have opened the booking for limited screens in the US. The booking for the limited slots of Dunki was opened in November. However, it was closed eventually due to certain unknown reasons. Now, the booking has been resumed again.

According to a report by Bombay Times, it has been known that the advance booking opened for 125 locations, where there are 351 shows. It has sold only 30 tickets as of now. Though, the number is said to increase with the release of its trailer. The makers of Dunki have already dropped their teaser and two songs till now, which have received honest reviews from the fans.

Dunki is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani in key roles. The film is themed around a group of friends who embark on a mission away from their homeland. It is slated to release on the 21st of December in the US. While for the Indian audience, it will be released on the 22nd of December.
