Shah Rukh Khan gave glorious review to Farhan’s ‘Toofan’

Shah Rukh Khan has given a glorious review to Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Toofan’. The duo has previously done ‘Don’ and ‘Don 2’ together.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has extended his good wishes to his friend, Director of ‘Don’ Farhan Akhtar for his latest film, ‘Toofan’. The actor, 55 took to his social media account to give a glorious review to ‘Toofan’ on Friday. He tweeted that he had watched the film and liked it.

Taking to his Twitter, he tweeted, “Wish my friends @FarOutAkhtar @RakeyshOmMehra the best for their labour of love. I had the privilege to see it a few days back. Extremely fine performances by @SirPareshRawal (wow!) @mohanagashe @mrunal0801 @hussainthelal My review: we shld all try & make more films like Toofaan.”

In the film, Farhan Akhtar is in the lead role who plays a street goon which later turns into a boxing champion. The film features Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles.

The actor has worked with Shah Rukh Khan twice as a Director in Don and Don 2. King Khan essayed the lead role in the film which was the remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s hit film. Besides Shah Rukh, Don also starred Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani, Arjun Rampal, Isha Koppikar and Om Puri.

Farhan, on the 13th anniversary, Farhan had written, “The number 13. Lucky for some. Unlucky for others. Don doesn’t give a damn..!! He creates his own destiny. Boom. A big shout out to the best cast and crew one could have hoped for to recreate this classic.”
