Satyaprem Ki Katha, the latest film by Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, debuted at the box office with a bang, earning Rs 9.25 crore on Thursday. However, following a drop in its collections on the second day, the film’s figures increased on the third day of its distribution.
Satyaprem Ki Katha had a 45 percent increase in revenue on Saturday, earning Rs 10.10 crore. With its expanding box office collection, the picture has begun to establish a strong foothold.
On Thursday, the film earned Rs 9.25 crore and on Friday, it garnered Rs 7 crore. It has now gained widespread acceptability among all age groups and families, resulting in positive word of mouth and a steady growing trend leading to 45 per cent growth on first Saturday. With this, the film is racing towards a splendid weekend number.
Based on the favourable reviews and word of mouth, the picture is projected to perform well over the weekend.
Satyaprem Ki Katha reunites the hit duo of Kartik and Kiara for the second time on the big screen, and their connection is obvious in the trailer and songs.
They previously collaborated on the box office hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which went on to become one of the highest-grossing films of 2022.
Satyaprem Ki Katha was directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania also appear in the film.
