Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri were set to headline Anurag Basu’s Aashiqui 3. However, recently it came to light that Triptii has backed away from the project, and Kartik will be working with the director for a fresh romantic film. Now, the reports have suggested that actresses Imanvi and Sara Ali Khan are in contention to feature as the female lead opposite Kartik.
Imanvi is a social media sensation, who is set to make her acting debut opposite Prabhas in a movie co-produced by Bhushan Kumar. A recent report in Mid-Day suggested that Imanvi has agreed not to commit to any other movie till her debut movie is released. Bhushan is reportedly in talks with the primary producers of Prabhas starrer, so that the upcoming actress can be a part of Anurag’s movie.
The media portal have also claimed that if does not work out with Imanvi, the makers will approach Sara, who has previously worked with Kartik in Love Aaj Kal 2. It must also be noted that Sara is currently already working on Anurag’s movie Metro In Dino, which also stars Aditya Roy Kapur.
The source has claimed that the final call over the casting shall be taken by the end of January 2025.
