According to a report from Pinkvilla, producer Firoz Nadiadwala is considering rejuvenating the Welcome Franchise with “Welcome 3.” While Akshay Kumar is set to reprise his role as Rajiv, it seems that Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor might not be returning to portray their iconic characters Uday Shetty and Majnu Bhai.
The script for Welcome 3 has been finalized, and the filming is planned to begin next year, after Akshay Kumar completes shooting for Jolly LLB 3 and Housefull 5. However, both Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar won’t be reprising their roles in the movie due to financial disagreements with the producer.
The director of Welcome 3 has not been revealed yet. There are expectations that Suniel Shetty will make an appearance in the film.
