Riding high on the consecutive success of Animal and Pushpa 2: The Rule, Rashmika Mandanna has become one of the most sought actors in film industry. While she celebrates her recent release, she has multiple projects lined up eyeing for a blockbuster reception for them as well.
Rashmika is currently busy working on her upcoming film Sikander opposite Salman Khan, and recently in an interview, the actor described her experience as “nerve wrecking.”
During a conversation with Pinkvilla, Rashmika was asked about her experience on shooting with Salman. Excitedly, she said, “He’s Salman Khan.” She also mentioned that the Dabangg star is fun to be around as he always creates fun and joyous atmosphere on the set by cracking jokes and being a high spirit.
She shared that this will be her first Bollywood commercial film and “all [her] Hindi film have got a performance oriented screenplay, but this is a first time I’m actually going to become a heroine, so I’m really excited.”
“I don’t want to be only taken for the performance. I want to be a part of full-blown commercial cinema as well,” noted the actress.
The film is being directed by AR Murugadoss, under the production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, and is slated to release on Eid 2025.
