There has been a rumour that Ranveer Singh has replaced Shah Rukh Khan in Don 3.

While rumours about Don 3 have been circulating for quite some time, a recent development has left everyone perplexed. According to a source published by News18, Shah Rukh Khan, who has starred in the previous two films in the franchise, has opted out of the third. According to reports, Ranveer Singh has been tapped to carry on the legacy.

Earlier, it was reported that actor Ranveer Singh, along with a few others, is in the running to replace Shah Rukh. And now, a source confirms to News18 that Ranveer Singh will play the title character in Don 3. Ranveer Singh has long been a fan of Excel Entertainment, having starred in films such as Dil Dhadakne Do (2015) and Gully Boy (2019), both of which received widespread critical praise and economic success.

According to the sources, the franchise’s creators will shortly release an announcement video for the same. “With bated breath, the audience awaits the announcement. “In reality, the Ranveer video has already been shot, and the production company intends to release it as soon as possible,” a source stated.

Previously, it was reported that Farhan Akhtar was preparing ‘Don 3’ with Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. Farhan was apparently planning a cameo by Ranveer, and the plot would feature SRK’s Don role handing on the baton of the franchise to Ranveer, who will also play a Don, according to media reports.

‘Jee Le Zaraa’ will also be directed by Farhan Akhtar. The principal roles in this road trip drama will be played by Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt. According to reports, this picture will hit theatres next year.
