Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated project of Bollywood starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in leading part. The film went on floor ever since 2018, however due to inevitable conditions the shoot and final impending touches have been delayed.

The director, Ayan Mukherji, has not yet announced the official release date because there is a final schedule that needs to be completed before the film hits the cinema.

According to a source, Ayan Mukerji is gearing up to film the last schedule of his magnum opus in Budapest. With international flights likely to resume post-August, the crew will reportedly fly to Budapest and give final touches to the film.

Once the entire cast and crew is full vaccinated, they will resume the shoot for their last schedule in Budapest.

The shooting had been delayed due to the strict impositions amidst the Maharashtra second-wave lockdown. However, they have now granted permission for television and film shooting up to a certain time of the day, along with the necessity of creating a bio-bubble for the safety of all.

Speaking about the film, When Ranbir was asked to describe a little something about the movie, he said, “It is actually a supernatural romantic fairy tale at heart. Ayan will never make a character that doesn’t have truth to it, or which is unbelievable.”
