Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2, sequel to Raid, released in 2018, has confirmed its release date. IRS officer Amay Patnaik AKA Ajay Devgn is set to open a new file in a new city on May 1, 2025. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh.
Ajay took to his Instagram handle to announce the release date of his upcoming theatrical release, Raid 2, which is set in a new city, as the protagonist takes on a fresh case and a new raid. While the first part featured Ileana D’Cruz, she has been replaced by Vaani, and Riteish has step into the role of antagonist.
Sharing the release date with a poster, the Singham actor wrote, “Naya Shehar. Nayi File. Aur Amay Patnaik Ki Ek Nayi Raid. #Raid2 knocking at your doors in cinemas near you on 1st May, 2025.”
Speaking of Raid 2, the crime thriller movie is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and backed by Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, Gaurav Nanda, and Krishan Kumar. It has been placed under the banner of Yash Raj Films, and will feature a fresh storyline of a white collar crime on May 1, 2025.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay has several projects lined up including De De Pyaar De 2, Son Of Sardaar 2, Drishyam 3 and Shaitaan 2.
