The first film of the two-part series, which was written and directed by Sukumar, was released in 2021 and quickly became one of the most popular films of the post-pandemic era. The movie, which followed an unexpected hero’s ascent to power after a stint of smuggling the precious red sandalwood, was notable for its unhinged lead performance by Allu Arjun and its top-charting music.

On April 8, Arjun’s birthday, the film’s creators unveiled the official first look of the sequel, “Pushpa The Rule.” Fans could not stop praising the actor’s daring appearance, which included the actress wearing a saree and accessorising with bangles, a nose pin, and earrings.

Rashmika Mandanna will also return to the film “Pushpa: The Rule” as Srivalli. Additionally, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay Gosh appear in the Mythri Movie Makers-produced movie. Sai Pallavi and Vijay Sethupathi are reportedly also expected to join the cast.

Miroslaw Kuba Brozek will remain the main cinematographer, and Devi Sri Prasad will resume writing the soundtrack for the movie.

‘Pushpa: The Rule’ won’t hit theatres before January 2024, according to a Pinkvilla report, even if the movie’s official release date is still uncertain.
