Prabhas revealed the release date of his next film Salaar, his first collaboration with filmmaker Prashanth Neel, on Monday. Prabhas revealed a new poster on Instagram and announced that Salaar would be released worldwide on September 28, 2023. Prabhas may be seen standing with two swords in his hands, looking at the ground in the poster. In the black background, there are several bodies visible. He said in the caption, “#TheEraOfSalaarBegins. See you at the cinema on September 28, 2023. #Salaar.”
It would be Shruti Haasan’s first time appearing alongside Prabhas. According to the post, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Sriya Reddy are also involved in the project. Jagapathi Babu and Easwari Rao will also play important parts.
The film, which is expected to be an action tale, stars Prabhas as Salaar. It’s said to be a remake of the Kannada film Ugramm. The film was shot in India as well as Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The film will be distributed in five languages across India.
Prabhas is presently filming his next multilingual science-fiction film, Project K, with director Nag Ashwin. Deepika Padukone will make her Telugu film debut with this movie, which will be produced by Vyjayanthi Films. Amitabh Bachchan also plays a significant part in the film. Prabhas will also appear in Om Raut’s upcoming movie rendition of the epic Ramayana Adipurush.
