At a massive pre-release ceremony held in Tirupati on Tuesday, the eagerly awaited final trailer of Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage, was presented. Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi are just a few of the languages in which it has been made available.
The Om Raut-directed movie has sparked a tonne of talk; it’s estimated that over a million admirers attended the screening.
The two minutes and 24 second long teaser gives viewers a glimpse of bravery, strength and the triumph of good over evil as it shows Prabhas as Raghava and Vanar Sena battling Lankesh (played by Saif Ali Khan) to save Janaki (Kriti Sanon).
The new trailer displays enhancements in visual effects over the first teaser, which drew criticism and caused a delay in its release. The opening sequence, which shows Lankesh kidnapping Janaki, features intricate CGI work.
However, the overall quality is still uneven, with some scenes—particularly those with the Vanaras and the battle scenes—continuing to have the cartoony texture seen in the first preview.
However, Prabhas’ devoted followers were unfazed, as the trailer quickly reached 350 thousand views and received a flood of positive comments.
The initial teaser’s negative reception appears to have motivated the film’s creators to take a more proactive approach to marketing the movie.
They took the feedback to heart, updated the CGI, and weeks later released an enhanced trailer. In order to ensure strong word-of-mouth advertising, they also planned a major premiere for the first trailer, with Prabhas himself attending a special screening along with a select group of admirers.
Prabhas and the Adipurush crew paid a visit to the Tirumala shrine in Tirupati earlier today to ask for blessings for the movie’s success.
On June 16, 2023, Adipurush, which is being produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, Rajesh Nair, Retrophiles, and Pramod and Vamsi of UV Creations, would be released in theatres all over the world.
