The upcoming film Oh My God 2 (OMG 2), written and directed by Amit Rai, stars Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar.
According to the most recent information, the teaser for the film will drop on July 11, 2023.The satirical comedy-drama has been backed by Wakaoo Film Production and Cape of Good Films.
The actor has tweeted with this caption- “आ रहे हैं हम, आइयेगा आप भी. 11th August. In theatres.” He also posted a video on Instagram.
“OMG 2” has a strong ensemble cast that includes performers with talent who will add to the impact of the movie. The on-screen chemistry that will be produced by Akshay Kumar working with the rest of the cast is anticipated to be both memorable and intriguing, further boosting the entire cinematic experience.
Three of the main roles in the upcoming film Oh My God 2 will be played by Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam, and Pankaj Tripathi. Other performers from OMG 2 such as Arun Govil, Aamir Naik, Fahim Fazli, Vedika Nawani, Parth Siddhpura, and others will appear in this movie. There are rumours that the South Indian actor Prabhas might also be cast.
On June 9, 2023, a Friday, Akshay Kumar released the poster for his upcoming movie, OMG 2.the movie will initially be released in theatres on August 11th. Akshay Kumar’s resemblance to Lord Shiva in the poster indicates what OMG 2’s plot would follow.
OMG 2 or Oh My God 2 will be based on a Hinduist-inspired story. This time the plot will be concentrated on Lord Shiva, the universe’s destroyer, as opposed to the world’s protector, Lord Krishna, who was the focus of the first part. Fans were extremely divided in their opinions of the first Oh My God movie. OMG 2 draws inspiration from Hindu beliefs in a similar way to its predecessor, however this time it focuses on Lord Shiva rather than Lord Krishna.
