Kabir Khan directed ‘New York’ completes 12 years in Indian Cinema today. Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who plays one of the protagonists in the film, takes to Instagram to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the film and his journey.

The Instagram post features a poster of the film portraying all the main actors on it, namely, Irfan Khan, Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham. He captioned the post, “12 years to this beautiful film directed by my dearest @kabirkhankk . It was a great learning experience being on his sets. Made some wonderful friends in @Johnabraham, @Katrinakaif and our beloved @irrfan sir as super awesome costars. Had the opportunity to witness the greatness of a then underrated actor @nawazuddin_siddiqui. A film I can say truly enjoyed every moment making. Great memories. Times go by but moments spent on the sets will live with me forever.”


The poster shared by Neil represents the theme of the film ‘Three Friends, One Event And The World Around Them Changed’.

Directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Aditya Chopra, the plot of the film captures the happy existence of three friends in New York and how their lives are adversely affected by the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre on 9/11.
