One of the most eagerly awaited upcoming Malayalam movies is the investigative drama Kannur Squad, which stars Mammootty. The movie was supposed to hit theaters on October 5, but the most recent sources indicate that Kannur Squad would instead open on September 28.
It was planned to release the movie’s teaser in August. Additionally, there were rumors that the teaser would be shown at the premiere of Mammootty’s son Dulquer Salmaan’s film King of Kotha, but that didn’t happen.
The other actors in Kannar Squad, in addition to Mammootty, are Shabareesh Varma, Rony David, Deepak Parambol, and Azeez Nedumangad. Mammootty portrays a police officer in the film who supervises a group of officers while they hunt down certain crooks. The movie’s posters give the impression that it will be an intense drama with an interesting plot.
