Pankaj Tripathi is currently gearing up for his upcoming biographical film ‘Main Atal Hoon.’ The movie is based on the life of India’s former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Ahead of the film’s theatrical release, the makers have released a new trailer showcasing key highlights of his life when he was a member of RSS.
The new trailer shares glimpses from his regime when was the Prime Minister and even during his time in a political party. The promotional video shows Vajpayee saying that the word is spreading and that RSS is a communal party and therefore a threat to the country.
The video starts with him saying that people believe what is shown to them. He is seen dealing with criticism as Gandhiji’s killer Nathuram Godse was also a part of RSS, for some days. It further proceeds with Vajpayee standing up against then-PM Indira Gandhi, during the Emergency.

The trailer ventures on showcasing the demolition of Babri Masjid and a bus service started by the Vajpayee government between India and Pakistan. The video highlights Vajpayee’s significance during the Kargil War in 1999.
