According to recent speculations, Madhuri Dixit has been approached about a crucial role in the film.
According to a report in Mid Day, producers are interested in casting Madhuri Dixit in Bhool Bhulaiya 3. The major presence of a female actress in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was unquestionably a contributing factor to the film’s popularity. The creators want to make sure the female role is impactful and strong even in their third installment.
While they had previously found success with Vidya Balan, they wanted another female celebrity with a strong on-screen presence, and who better than Madhuri Dixit for the role? Madhuri is expected to play one of the ghosts; thus, Kartik will battle two female spirits this time. Sara Ali Khan could appear in the film alongside Kartik Aaryan.
In a recent interview, Anees Bazmee revealed that Akshay Kumar would not appear in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The Khiladi actor did a terrific job in the first chapter, but the producers decided not to keep him for the second edition, instead casting Kartik Aaryan.
The astounding success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has proven that Kartik can carry an entire film on his shoulders and ensure box office success. Anees commented that the plot of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is inappropriate for Akshay Kumar to play.
Aside from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik Aaryan will star in Chandu Champion. The film will be released on June 14, 2024, and is advertised as a biographical sports movie based on the true story of Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar.
