The team of the much-anticipated sports drama, Chandu Champion, undertook a bold undertaking in the second schedule: recording an incredible eight-minute-long single-shot war sequence at a spectacular altitude of 9000 feet above sea level. Kartik Aaryan, who plays the hero in the Kabir Khan film, is seen wearing an army uniform.
According to reports, One of the most amazing features of this task, was the creation of a single-take action sequence representing a big battle in 1965. To carry off this remarkable feat, the crew built a vast army camp in Jammu and Kashmir’s gorgeous Aru Valley, which is positioned at an altitude of nearly 10,000 feet above sea level.
The actor took to social media to share a photo describing his experience filming this 8-minute single-shot war scene.
He wrote, “This 8 minutes long single-shot war scene turned out to be the most challenging, spectacular and yes, difficult but also the most memorable shot of my acting career. Thank you @kabirkhankk sir for giving me a memory to cherish for a lifetime. #ChanduChampion l #SajidNadiadwala @wardakhannadiadwala @nadiadwalagrandson.”
According to the source, Kartik Aaryan, Vijay Raaz, and Bhuvan Arora practised for five days to perfect their performances in this epic battle sequence. The crew nailed the scenario on the sixth day, flawlessly conveying the tight mood of the fight.
This will be Kartik and Kabir’s first collaboration, and their second with director Sajid Nadiadwala. The team shares an uplifting true story of a sports hero. Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan will release,Chandu Champion, on June 14, 2024.
