Karan Johar to make big announcement about upcoming movie

Filmmaker Karan Johar has been known for his movies with eternal love stories and romance. The director is now back with a new love story. He will announce his upcoming romantic movie on Tuesday.

Filmmaker Karan Johar made his directorial debut with the Rom-Com, Kuch Kuch Hota hai in 1998. After a long time, the director will now be back with a new romantic movie. Karan posted a video on his Instagram handle which described his journey with romantic films and Dharma Productions.

The director also dropped hints about his upcoming movie, which will be declared tomorrow. Karan wrote, “This is the beginning of a new journey & my way back home – all at once. It’s time to go back to my favourite place, it’s time to create some eternal love stories from behind the lens. A very special story, truly immersed in the roots of love and family. Announcing my next film tomorrow at 11 am, watch this space for more! @DharmaMovies @apoorva1972”

In the video, he said that in the last five years, he tried to grow his production by pushing the cinematic boundaries through the lens of new and talented filmmakers. Then, he added, “But personally, my primary passion always lies behind the camera. Telling stories, filling the world with a multitude of colours, eternal music, emotions. I feel it is time to go back to my favourite place- Onset, and to create what I adore the most- Love stories! I’m extremely excited to announce my next film, tomorrow.” He fuelled the excitement by saying that it will be a very special story, truly immersed in the roots of love and family.

The video contained shots from his several iconic films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and many others. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Karan Johar back in action.

The director also has several other films in the pipeline, as a producer. These include Soorvanshi, Liger, and Brahmastra. The upcoming period drama, Takht, directed by him stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Alia Bhatt, and many others.
