Karan Johar unveiled the first-look of his upcoming romcom film “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” on his 51st birthday.
The poster stars Ranveer Singh as Rocky and Alia Bhatt as Rani. After seven years, KJo is back as a director after the hit “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”. Apart from the main lead, the movie also stars legendary actor Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. Posters of Ranveer and Alia as their characters could be seen on the initial look.
Coming to the posters, the first poster stars Ranveer. KJo shared the poster with the caption, “Yaaron ka yaar aur dilon ka dildaar – Rocky”
Ranveer appears quite funky and attractive. Heading to the 2nd poster of Alia. The post was captioned, “Ladies & gentlemen, the queen is here to steal your hearts – meet Rani!”
Alia looks so elegant in traditionals. The director also shared the duo’s poster together.
As per the sources, the film will stream on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical debut. The shooting was done in New Delhi. Many photos from their outdoor shoot was leaked and netizens got the idea that the film has a touch of retro. Though it was scheduled for a February release, but later the date got postponed to 28 July, 2023.
