Karan Johar drops Sidharth Malhotra starrer ‘Shershaah’ poster

Karan Johar took to his Twitter account on Monday and dropped the poster of Sidharth’s upcoming ‘Shershaah’.

Bollywood is lined up to launch patriotic theme films with having Independence Day closer. The viewers are thrilled as they wait for ‘Shershaah’ to hit the screens. This Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani -starrer film is all set to release on an OTT platform on August 12. It will be available to stream for Amazon Prime users. Right after the teaser was released there was an increasing buzz in the audience. The film has been on the headlines ever since the shooting had started. Fans are eager to witness the story of the Kargil War 1999 hero Captain Vikram Batra, who will be played by the ‘A Gentleman’ actor Sidharth Malhotra.

Karan Johar took to his Twitter account and shared the poster of ‘Shershaah’ and confirmed the release date for the film. He tweeted, “The mission that defined our nation’s history. Watch this story unravel with #ShershaahOnPrime, releasing on 12th August.”

Sidharth Malhotra can be seen in the battleground in the poster. His expression is ferocious. With his uniform on and a gun in his hand, the actor can be seen making his way away from a possible explosion behind him.

On July 15, Sidharth had shared the teaser and wrote, “Heroes live on through their stories. We are honoured to bring to you the true story of the Kargil War hero, Captain Vikram Batra (PVC). A film with a long journey for me & a real-life character I am proud to play. #ShershaahOnPrime comes out on 12th August only on @PrimeVideoIN”.
