The film, which revolves the dark period of Emergency in the 70s, during the reign of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, will not be released in Bangladesh. As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, it has been learned that the key factors, which led to this decision, also includes the current ongoing issues between India and Bangladesh as well as the portrayal of the assassination of former PM of Bangladesh, Shaikh Mujibir Rehman.

Meanwhile, another reason that might have led to the ban must be the assassination of former Bangladesh PM Shaikh Mujibir Rehman, who is regarded as the father of Bangladesh, since he played a key role in separation of Bangladesh from Pakistan.

The movie shall mark directorial debut of Kangana, and it also features Anupam Kher, Shreya Talpade, and Milind Soman.
