John Abraham starrer Satyameva Jayate 2 to be resumed by Milaap Zaveri, but not anytime soon for this reason

After two months of complete lockdown, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray government has made the restriction a little lenient, but of course, with due precautions. With unlock 1.0 Industry is all up with activities and filmmakers are planning to go back to the sets as soon as possible. With filmmakers like Shoojit Sircar starting to work on the post-production of his film to Akshay Kumar shooting commercials, everyone is getting back on the floor.

Recently Director Milap Zaveri says he has been “Thoroughly prepped since April” to start off with Satyamev Jayate 2. Though Zaveri is currently in a quandary as the film’s cinematographer, Sujith Vaassudev, and action director duo Anbu-Arivu are currently in Kerala and Chennai respectively.

Zaveri said, “The rest of the team is in Mumbai, but unless they fly down, we can’t begin work,” He further stressed on the importance of Stunt directors, “I can’t think of shooting without Anbu-Arivu. Once we get the permission to begin filming, we will arrange for them to come to Mumbai. But it will be a long-drawn process. After they land here, they will have to home-quarantine for 14 days before they can report to the set.”

“I loved Anbu and Arivu’s work in KGF: Chapter 1 [2018]. They worked with John in Mumbai Saga, and he loved their style. So, we decided to rope them in. We have choreographed several bare body action sequences for John,” Zaveri revealed why he wants the stunt director-duo for his second instalment of the cop drama.
