Jaya Bachchan slams the paparazzi during the screening of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in Mumbai saying, “I Am Not Deaf”

Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan, along with Jaya, came.

At the Mumbai premiere of her next romantic drama movie “Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” veteran star Jaya Bachchan became irate with the paparazzi on Tuesday. She came to the screening with her daughter Shweta Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan.

She paused briefly as she approached the location to allow Shweta and Abhishek to follow her. Shutterbugs began yelling for her to pose for their pictures in the meantime.

They were making Jaya uncomfortable, so she cut them off by declaring, “I am not deaf. Chilao maat, aaram se baat karo,” before accompanying her children and entering the theatre.

Well, Jaya Bachchan is known for her direct approach to the paparazzi, so it’s not the first time she’s reprimanded them.

The exclusive screening was attended by a number of well-known B-town stars, including Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Neha Dhupia, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and Chunky Panday.

The movie, directed by Karan Johar, will open in theatres on July 28 and stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in the key roles.

The official trailer of the movie, the songs “What Jhumka” and “Tum Kya Mile,” “Ve Kamleya” and “Dhindora Baje Re,” and the recent release of the songs have received overwhelmingly positive reactions from the audience.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which combines Johar’s storytelling skill with an impressive ensemble cast, grandeur, and music, promises to be a wholesome, big-screen entertainment. There were also other scenes of the two arguing, romancing, and sharing various holidays with their families, potentially even getting married.
