Irfan Khan’s son Babil to work with ‘Piku’ director Shootjit Sircar; feels “honoured”

Babil Khan took to his Instagram handle to share the pictures with director and producer Shoojit Sircar and Ronnie Lahiri respectively.

Late actor Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan is all set to make his debut in Bollywood. Recently, Babil has got an opportunity to work with ‘Piku’ director Shoojit Sircar and producer Ronnie Lahiri and shared pictures with them from the sets of the movie. In the first picture, the trio is seen posing for the came while in another one they can be seen sitting on the sets of the film.

Previously, Shoojit Sircar and Ronnie Lahiri have worked with late actor Irrfan Khan for Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Piku.’

Taking to his Instagram handle Babil Expressed his gratitude, he shared the picture and captioned, “Honoured to work with you legends.” Producer Ronnie Lahiri also shared a picture confirming the news of featuring Babil Khan in their next project. He wrote, “Honoured to take forward your legacy Irrfan sir.
Worked with a legend like you, And now Babil. If this is not Providence, what is? @babil.i.k @shoojitsircar @filmsrisingsun.”

The project is yet to be titled and the details regarding the same will be announced soon. Meanwhile, the netizens are thrilled about the collaboration have showered love and best wishes to Babil for his new venture.

Besides this, Babil Khan has Netflix’s ‘Qala’ alongside Tripti Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee in the pipeline.
