Director Mohit Suri has officially entered the elite Rs 300 crore club with his latest romantic drama Saiyaara. The film, produced and distributed by Yash Raj Films, crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the domestic box office on its 17th day of release, collecting a cumulative total of Rs 300.25 crore.
On its third Sunday, Saiyaara added Rs 9 crore to its impressive run, cementing its place among Bollywood’s highest-grossing films. With this milestone, the film joins a prestigious list of Hindi cinema blockbusters such as PK, Dangal, Sanju, Pathaan, Jawan, and Gadar 2.
Saiyaara also marks a breakthrough debut for newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, who have now become the first-ever debutants to headline a film that entered the Rs 300 crore club. The duo’s performance has received significant attention, contributing to the film’s strong word-of-mouth appeal and sustained box office momentum.
This milestone marks a significant achievement for Mohit Suri, known for romantic hits like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain, making Saiyaara his most commercially successful project to date.
