The countdown has begun as the film is gearing up to hit the screens in only two days on the 23rd of this September. The trailer and teaser of the film has already aroused much eagerness among the audiences. The intriguing and predictable trailer of the film released on 10th September shows “Madhavan and debutante Khushalii Kumar as a happily married couple. However, the truth turns out to be entirely different, when a terrorist breaks into their home, leading Khushalii to realise that her husband was fooling her by giving her medicines she never needed.”

Dhokha Round D Corner is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Dharmendra Sharma and Vikrant Sharma under the banner of T-Series. According to a source, the plot of the film reads, “Dhoka is a tale of lies and harsh truths. Helmed by Kookie Gulati, the story of the film revolves around a delusional housewife with a personality disorder who’s taken hostage by a terrorist on the loose and a husband accused of cheating on his wife.”

Earlier, in an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Kookie Gulati revealed if he is worried about Dhokha’s release in times when Hindi films aren’t working well. “Oh, not at all! I think the space that we are in right now is the space where people are recognising content. And I don’t think I could have come at a better time [than this],” he said.

He further mentioned, “I think I couldn’t have come at a better time when the audience is so aware. That’s why we have got a phenomenal response to the teaser. Much better than I ever expected.”
