Dharmendra shared a video clip from the 1971 movie, Guddi, starring Jaya Bachchan, and said ‘There is a big difference between craze and love’.

Veteran actor Dharmendra recently took his Instagram handle to share a video clip from his 1971 movie, Guddi. The movie starred veteran actress Jaya Bachchan as the female lead who is in love with a film star.

In the video, we can see Jaya Bachchan’s character confessing her love towards Dharmendra, who played the role of a movie star. Jaya Bachchan was sitting with Dharmendra’s photo in her hand. Further, she said that the fact that he is married doesn’t matter to her nor she is jealous of Dharmendra’s life partner.

The monologue was very well acted by the actress and conveyed an important message to society, back then. Dharmendra recalled that era and wrote, “We made film Guddi, to aware school girls and boys that film 🎥 world is all false. Don’t get carried away. But in vain. I still say there is a big difference between craze and love….”

Jaya Bachchan played the role of a school-going girl in the film. ‘Guddi’ was written by Gulzar and directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee.
