After the massive success of Simmba, Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty are coming with another film, Cirkus. The idea behind movie Cirkus is inspired from William Shakespeare’s play “The Comedy of Errors.”
The movie was already announced in October 2020, featuring Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma.
Now, the legendary comedian Johny Lever has also joined the shooting of Cirkus. The same is confirmed by official Instagram handle of Filmfare with a post, captioning “#RanveerSingh confirms that legendary comedian #JohnyLever has joined the cast of #Cirkus.”
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar in association with Reliance Entertainment. Cirkus’s shooting sites includes Mumbai, Ooty, and Goa. The film is scheduled to hit theatres in late 2021.
Cirkus will be Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty’s third film together.
